• Hey!
    Today I installed the WP Security Scan plug and since I activated it all hell seems to have gone loose…
    First I changed the database prefixes without making wp-config.php writeable first and my whole blog broke down.
    I changed all the prefixes back to “wp_” manually in phpMyAdmin and my blog was back up but I didn’t have any more admin rights i.e. couldn’t log in as admin anymore. So I googled a bit and found the force-upgrade.php which enabled me to log in and access my admin panel again.
    So far everything looked great again, but now I’ve come to notice that I can’t delete anything. When I try to delete a page or a file out of my multimedia library it tells me “You do not have sufficient rights to delete this page/article” (that’s my personal translation of it – I use WP in German).

    And the function to add and install themes and plugins right from the admin panel also seems to have disappeared – the according options have vanished from the admin bar on the left hand side of the admin panel.

    So how and where can I reclaim all my rights as admin?
    Please help me, this problem really sucks…

    thx in advance for any help,

    c-r-u-x

    I looked at this thread but can’t figure out what he means by “site meta”?
    Where is it that a:1:{i:0;s:5:”admin”;} must be entered?

    My xx_usermeta already contains
    xx_capabilities a:1:{s:13:”administrator”;b:1;}
    and
    xx_user_level 10

    What other changes in my database could be necessary for me to regain full authority over my blog?
