When I set the plugin to use v.5 icons, I get “No results found” in my icon dropdown field in the backend. When I switch to v.4, the icons populate just fine.

I tried switching themes and deactivating all my other plugins, but still the same result.

No errors in Developer Tools -> Console, the Network -> Preview just shows the AJAX results returning empty: “{results: [], more: false, limit: 0}”

Btw, I have the following versions:

    • Advanced Custom Fields PRO: Version 5.11
    • Advanced Custom Fields: Font Awesome: Version 3.1.2

Hmm that is an interesting one, I am trying to think of scenarios where that could happen.

The only one I can think of right now, is that you have “Pro” icons checked in the settings of this plugin. However you either do not have a FontAwesome Pro license, or the site that your are working on is not properly whitelisted in the FontAwesome settings to be able to access the pro icons.

Can you check out that idea and let me know if it was the problem you are seeing?

Sorry, the ACF fields had previously been v.4 and I didn’t realize I would have to go back and edit those field settings (enabling some Icon Sets) after changing it to v.5.

Everything looks great now. Thanks so much for the work on this plugin!

Ah, yeah the upgrade from 4 to 5 is ‘breaking’ in that way. Glad you got it sorted, and thanks for sharing the resolution here for others to find in the future.
