• Hello! I get the above message from the plugin. I read what you said: “Wait and it will go away.”
…But the plugin is already active for weeks. To check this I ticked “Show hits in post” in the settings and it really counted posts, some have over 1000 hits.
So this error message cannot be connected with the number of hits, I suppose!?
    Thanks for help!

    PS: I use the shortcode
    [most_read_posts type=“most“ posts_number=“4″ show_thumbs=“true“ words_excluded=”Begrü?ung” excerpt_max_chars=”80″ days_ago=”365″]

Empty all the server caches in your cache plugin settings. If it doesn’t work, try less restrictive shortcode options, e.g.: [most_read_posts type=“most“ posts_number=“4″]

    Thanks for your (quick!) suggestions.
I changed the code and emptied the caches, even on Cloudflare, and will see what happens.
I will get back in a few days if this should not work… ??

    A happy Christmas for you!

Now I checked it again: In the sidebar, as a widget, it works, miraculously. Only using the shortcode it does not get informations/results!? (I reduced the shortcode as you said but with no change in the results.)

You can see the test page here with shortcode and underneath the widget/sidebar:

On another page I have a shortcode of a related posts plugin that works.
So I assume that it must have something to do with this specific shortcode, neither with my page nor the number of hits…
    Still any idea left?
    Thanks!
