No Results, and no “query” in theme

Hello,

I’ve managed to do something to my child theme so that Relevanssi no longer shows results. It was working when I initially installed it, but I went on to deactivate it and try other solutions for what I wanted. When I came back to Relevanssi, I got “no results found.”

I know that Relevanssi itself is working because it works on a) another site in the network using a different theme, b) this site when the parent theme is applied.

So obviously I’ve done something to the child theme. I found The Most Important Relevanssi Debugging Trick, and searched the theme folder for “query” but the only file that comes up is style.css with a class name that I’m not using.

A plugin I’m using has its own custom search, which I’m ditching in favor of Relevanssi. Unfortunately I can’t disable only the search function. Abandoning the plugin altogether is not an option. But, Relevanssi worked when I initially installed it, running alongside this other search. So I don’t -think- there’s interference, but I could be wrong.
