    Hi

I have pro version installed. I put three tables on a page using shortcode. I can see three tables on front end. However, occasionally I am getting no result found error. All three tables are connected via google sheet. I noticed that if I refresh the page, sometime it brings the table back. Please help.

    Thanks

We have released a new version with improvements. It should work now.

    Thanks

    Hi there,

I got the pro version as well and it is up to date. But I still get this issue almost every time I first load the page with my table.
As rakeshnirzari1, my table is a Google sheet linked table.

I have the pro version, updated with latest version, with 2 installations.

First Install – First table created works fine in all circumstances
    – Second table created shows “No Result” unless I am logged in to my site

    PLEASE HELP!

    Hello @visualb ,
This shouldn’t have happened! Please open a support ticket from your WPManageNinja Dashboard which is our dedicated support channel and we will also able to track and follow up with the issue better. Please export the table in JSON format which is not showing unless you are logged in. Zip the JSON file and upload the ZIP file while opening the ticket.

    Have a great day!

I have created a ticket and uploaded the files. Also, I tried turning off all plugins. With just NinjaTables (basic plugin) I get data… with NinjaTables pro activated I get No Results.

I have just bought the Pro Version of NinjaTables
I am also getting random “No Result Found” on front end of my page – at other times the data appears just fine.
Did you discover why this error is happening please?

Yes, it was connected to the “Users can see and edit/delete their own data” setting in the Front End Editing options for the table. Turning that on makes the data only visible to the author… When you select that, it makes it so that users can literally ONLY SEE their data.

I filed a change/feature request for the authors to split the SEE option off from the edit/delete option, as I want users to be able to see ALL the data, but only able to edit/delete their own. No movement has been made on that feature yet.

I had to turn the feature off, and cannot give users the option of editing their own data.

    @visualb,

Did this ever get resolved for you? I’m having a similar issue where I want my users who are not logged into to see ALL the data, but only logged in users can edit their own data (but still see it all).. and it’s not working as expected / hoped.

So I’m wondering if you ever got that to work, would love to know what the secret is. ??

Not sure if this will help but the two major issues I had with Ninja Tables (i.e. no data showing in the feed) related to either:

    1) The source sheet (Google sheets) had a trailing space in one of its cells. Something that simple stopped my data feed working completely. Check all your data cells / field heading entries etc for any trailing spaces!

    2) Double check your sharing permissions on the source sheet. I had to explicitly ‘allow anyone with the link to view the sheet’; only then would it show data on my destination website feed.

Not sure this relates to your specific problem here, but hope this helps and important things to check in any event.

@loxx927 wasn’t able to get it to work, but I submitted a feature request to NinjaTables. I dropped my users’ ability to edit their own content right after I reported this issue and haven’t tried adding it back in, so I’m unsure if they made any changes.

    Hello There,

Our sincerest apology for being delayed to respond. We always recommend opening a support ticket to get a fast reply.

Regarding @visualb and @loxx927 questions, normally when you enable ‘Users can see and edit/delete their own data’, it will show only the logged in users rows in the frontend if you use the normal table shortcode and there is another shortcode available which will show all the table rows for public users. See here

So, you can embed the table for public users to display all the table rows on another page and can add that page link in the table footer. By default, there is no default feature to add the table footer but if you open a Support Ticket we can provide you the necessary solution for this.

Regarding @alcain’s issue, if you are still having the same issue then I recommend opening a Support ticket with detailed information, we will assist you.

If you have further queries, please open a ticket here: https://wpmanageninja.com/support-tickets/#/
