  • google drive embedded documents aren’t visible to viewers, not sure if it’s an issue with google or the plugin
    support are trying to help but it’s been a bit slow due to illness their side

    Google occasionally applies the security update to Google Drive, and due to which currently, the public option is not supported for the Drive.

    Our technical team has extensively tested this issue, and we couldn’t replicate the same. Usually ‘Anyone with the link’ option for a folder will work perfectly fine unless you have applied a custom sharing option for a particular file.

    If you apply an individual file sharing option, then the global folder sharing option will get overridden. Did you able to check your file if it is restricted?

    If this is still not working, try reuploading the file and again follow the steps. Due to the security updates, some users have reported issues in embedding files with Google Drive with our plugin and were rectified by reuploading the files.

    Again we are extremely sorry for the delayed response. We value our customers, and we provide them with one of the best support we can. Sometimes we also face some challenges. We hope you understand this.

    thanks for coming back to me. the issue has now been resolved with support. thanks for a great plugin, it really is a godsend for clients who have tons of files and it eliminates clogging up the database
