• I purchased the plugin to use woocommerce payments but nowhere does it say that the payment gateways used by woocommerce must be compatible with simple membership which not all are. So I can’t use it. I noticed this right away and contacted them to request a refund but they never responded. I’ve sent them multiple emails over the last two months but with no response whatsoever. I’m very dissappointed with this non existent customer service. The membership plugin itself is cumbersome and far from easy to use. Sure it’s free so I was okay with it because I could mostly get it working. But now it seems like it’s not compatible with page builders like bricksbuilder which I’ve used to build my site. All pages that I have set membership restrictions on are still accessible by anyone without logging in. So after the cumbersome setup and paying for a plugin I can’t use, Simple membership doesn’t work at all, I’ve received no help after multiple attempts and I’ve payed money for something I can’t use. Beyond frustrating and I’ve lost both time and money. So I would stay away if I were you.

@luvis Sorry to see that you had a negative experience. This will usually be due to the email communication never reaching our inbox or your inbox. It can happen for a myriad of reasons. If you mention it on this forum or our website’s forum that you paid for something but didn’t receive communication), we will be able to look into it.

We can’t reply to every free support requests due to our limited resources. However, a paid user will get a response for sure. The only exception is going to be when the email communication never reaches us.

If you post the transaction ID of the purchase, we will issue a refund on that transaction from our PayPal account.

Ok, thank you. I have emailed you from two different email adresses which I don’t tend to have delivery issues with, but just to be on the safe side, but of course it could be a possible explanation. Either way, I’m glad to finally receive a response. My transaction id on Paypal is 86F38259HY422920M

@luvis, Your transaction was refunded on 8th January. Please see the following screenshots for proof.

We even responded to the PayPal dispute you opened on 8th January. Looks like even the communication from PayPal didn’t reach your inbox. PayPal always sends an email to you when a response is made on a dispute and also when a refund is issued.

Since email communication is not working at the moment, I am posting the details here so at least you can confirm the refund. Please log into your PayPal account and check it.
