No response and bad load time

I’ve used Bluehost for more than 4 years. The last few weeks things have been terrible with WordPress hosted with Bluehost. I have several clients using Bluehost – all I get are canned responses from support.

Yes, my WordPress installations use caching, yes I’ve optimized the images, yes I’ve optimized the database, yes I’ve used minify, yes I’ve checked the CPU and throttling times (none) – yet pages load so slowly. I know they moved their server location and they had a power outage 2 weeks ago.

Something has changed at Bluehost – hold times on the phone are ridiculously long, the chat does not work, and the response to support tickets and emails are canned or non-existent.

Even their forum is down. Look at part of this tracert:

Does anyone have suggestions for hosts that really DO host WordPress without issues like this (and lack of customer support).
