• NO STAR!

It is defined by law in many places that I as a user must decide who gets data from them. Not the service provider (here the plugin author).

If I may/must choose when activating the plugin whether third parties offer a service, that’s annoying enough.

If I then choose SKIP and the plugin despite wants to access a website: analytics . wponlinesupport . com

Then that is a violation of laws and against the rules of fairness.

    @mods:

I take my time and write here that the plugin violates LAWS.
My previous and deleted review was not a support request, but a serious note for other wordpress users.

I do not understand why my review was considered a “support request”.

Better would be to use this hint to take the PLUGIN under REVISION because of VIOLATION.

Anything from — onwards is welcome to go away. But should this review be removed again, I see this as active censorship and will not leave it that way.

    Hello @wp-henne

We are really sorry but we are not taking any data if you press “Skip” button. We are taking data as per GDPR rule.

If you are giving us permission then we are taking : Name and email address, Site URL, WP version, PHP info & Theme and Activation, Deactivation and Uninstall events

    Hello @anoopranawat !

    Thank you for your feedback.

For me it is even then NOT acceptable, if I only by pressing SKIP access to the subdomain analytics of a host and thus in any case my IP is collected – for which, if I press SKIP, there is NO reason.

    Please test this out yourself.

If the domain above does not belong to you, then it is essential to clarify what the preceding addon does during plugin activation.

Me as a user of a plugin must or can not care who has his fingers in the game, as long as the thing itself is smooth.

But SKIP means NOTHING, NADA for no one, no matter who.
