Reddit support was removed, thanks to all people who choose to abuse it despite all warnings.

    Please see here: https://www.nextscripts.com/updts/news/2013/11/reddit/

Also it does say in the plugin description that reddit is supported only with “(with third party API library)” the same as G+ and Pinterest.

You’ve not stopped abuse, you’re just making people pay $50 for it. I wanted it for a legitimate reason (my own subreddit populated by a popular disabiliy news blog). But $50 is mental for one feature. Reddit has complex algorithms to deal with the abuse..

Actually we did. We also didn’t have a choice. One of the Reddit’s “complex algorithms” to stop abuse generated by our plugin was to disable our plguin completely.

We changed the code to allow autoposting only to “own” subreddits, but it wasn’t enough. Changing it back to the abusive “post anywhere” behavior was just a matter of changing two lines of code.

It’s very easy to do in the free open source version, it’s not that easy in the “Pro”.

As the result, we had to remove reddit from the free plugin.

As you see not everything in this world is done because we want your money. We were happy to offer Reddit support for free until some people decided to ruin it.

    A closed-source free plug-in would’ve solved both issues.

If you want a closed-source free plugin for Reddit, then learn PHP yourself, and make it. One staring this plugin is childish, and frankly with an attitude like this, I am glad you aren’t supplying content to Reddit.

Otherwise, you can pay these fine people money for their hard work in supporting Reddit in the only way they can. I doubt you work for free, stop being ungrateful for what they DO provide.

i have found another plug-in and got auto-posting working. This plugin is trash and deserves the 1 star

You found a free plugin that autoposts to Reddit? Could you please tell me where can I get it?
