    Hi,

    I managed to get the plug-in to work properly, or so I thought. When the first preorder came in I noticed that it got its own woocommerce status “pre ordered”. My store is connected to Mailchimp, which handles all receipts etc and I noticed that the order that came in did not trigger a receipt email. So, I reached out to Mailchimp and they replied that they are only triggered when the order is set to “processing”. So, my question is: how can I trigger receipts in the woocommerce status “pre ordered” OR how can I automatically change the status of new preorders to “processing” to trigger receipt send outs? Thanks!

    Hi,
    Thanks for using our preorder plugin.
    When the preorder date arrives, the order status will automatically change to “Processing” status, but you can change the status anytime from the order dashboard. If you did, then it should trigger the receipt.

    Thank you very much for that super quick reply! Okay, so it’s linked to the preorder date. I presume there is not way to override this and automatically set the preorders to “processing” without changing the preorder date?

    Yes, you can change the preorder status before preorder date arrives ??
