• We have used an older version for a while now and have just recently updated to the latest one. The new version now uses reCAPTCHA for its captcha section which is a nice touch, only…it isn’t working in IE, the browser that most companies are still forced to use.

Sure, for most of us that live in Chrome or Firefox, this plug-in works great. But the only way to get the anti-spam portion of the plug-in to work in IE (the most important feature for the majority of businesses when dealing with forms) is to hope they’re at least on IE 11 where you *might* get it to pop up by hitting refresh. However, most companies are stuck using IE 8 (the last one that works in XP, I believe) where the reCAPTCHA doesn’t even show up at all.

So, if you’re just using it on a personal site, the plug-in is great to use – just let your visitors know to hit refresh if they’re using IE and before they’ve filled out any information. But if you’re looking to use this on a company web site or any type of business site, you’ll want to look elsewhere.

On a side note, this issue was brought up on their support tab over 3 weeks ago (at the time of this writing) and has yet to be corrected by the author of the plug-in.
