It is very frustrating to pay for one on one support then get told “thats not my job” – this plugin will always be limited because it has no real support, even when paid for. I installed the plugin on a website and it does not work – the short codes all show up on the site not the content that is supposed to. So i buy a support token thinking they will take a look and help me with some hints or direction. But instead get told “thats now our job” –

Very frustrating dealing with a product that has no real technical support.

  • Hey there,
As stated on the Premium Support page:
“It is not supports responsibility to correct 3rd party plugins, themes or custom modifications you have implemented. Depending on the nature of the problem a fix may be offered as a courtesy. This is commonly considered a “best effort” attempt. A solution is not guaranteed or implied.”

Basically support means issues with the plugin. If the plugin works in the default 2010 theme from wordpress then its not a plugin issue but a theme issue. WP e-Commerce is built following wordpress coding standards and if something does not work and its caused by your theme its your theme developers responsability to fix it.

I understand that 100% ?? I am merely needing direction as to what is causing it not to work. ?? I do not know what is wrong with the theme to determine how to fix it is my issue… ??

and yes, i did scour the documentation but saw nothing on specifics about how to integrate or put hooks into the theme for the plugin if needed.

    Thanks –
    Tom
