No “Read more” button on slider?

  • Hello folks,

    I have installed this theme on my site: https://www.vanessacortes.com.br

    And I noticed that, in demo mode, a “Read more” button leading to the post (?) appears. But when I change the slider to link to categories, it won’t link to the posts, and I have added the “read more” line on them.

    Any leads?

    Also: how can I translate this “Read more”?

    For Appear Read more button kindly enter 25 more above text in slider post for create slider post,

    For Change Read more button text / Translate then find the funcitons.php file (Located in your theme folder ).

    Open it and find the below line of code on line no 112.

    return ‘<div class=”slide-text-bg2″>’ .'<span>’.$output.'</span>’.'</div>’.
    ‘<div class=”slide-btn-area-sm”>‘.__(”
    Read more”,”appointment”).’    </div>’;

    And change Read More text as you need .

    Hi, I am having the same problem, I don’t get the button to show. I am using the basic template. What does that mean:

    25 more what? Words?

    Basically, Slider button to appear an excerpt so Kindly enter 25 more words slider post for creating slider post.

    Thank you, it worked now. It also works if you use the excerpt field, and put more than 25 words in there. It doesn’t work however, if you use an excerpt field and put less than 25 words in there. Regards, Kerstin
