  • In 2.0.1 there is just the one posting screen.
Do you see the new WYSIWYG editor ?

Hi POdz..if the wysiwyg editor is the html button then yes. I can edit the html and I can insert the tags there. I tried it. I just thought there were quicktag buttons on top of the textbox..that’s what wordpress says in it’s directions..also the advanced option isn’t there either

I believe you know that you can toggle between the Rich editor and the text based html editor on the accounts page.

The Rich editor has buttons, among them for the pop up html editor. The plain text editor has quick tags, so you can select text and get an enclosing <b> tag or anchor tag.

    HI Petit,
I can click on the html button and a box pops up for me to write and edit the html. if i choose to use the plain text editor on the “write” page, there are no quick tag buttons..It’s all right after all. I saved a list of quicktags from a website so i can copy and paste when i need to..thnx, Laurie

Strange that you don’t already have them.

In my own version, when I start writing a post the Rich editor and pop up the html editor, it’s empty.
    What’s the world coming to?

I have this same problem as “nevermore”. I successfully upgraded to 2.0, no quicktag button any longer.. then I upgraded to 2.1 and still no quicktag button or advanced option. I would like to have those quicktags back.

Yes, I have java enabled for my browsers.
    I use Windows XP / IE6 and FireFox 1.5

Are you disabling the rte in your user profile?

My Quicktags are dead/missing as well ??

RTE on in profile, have tried switching on/off etc to give it a belt, still no quicktags for me…

Using version 2.0 – only install (ie started with it).

Just an update… it’sa Safari thing (Grr).

Java on in Safari 2.0.3 (417.8).

    See them in Firefox.

I’ve been having this problem, I don’t see quick tags or html editor.

I’m using firefox 1.5, but it’s the same with IE and linux or windows.

I’m having a problem with this as well. Help, please. Thanks. ??

A clearing of the browser cache did the job for me. Thanks!!
