No purchase without GDPR
-
We’re a web development company in the UK an our clients need a replacement for Contact Form 7. After scoping Ninja Forms, WPForms, Gravity Forms and Visual Form Builder we had settled on Visual Form Builder, based on better functionality and sensible pricing. We were set to purchase your developer bundle when we read of your bizarre refusal to make the plugin GDPR compliant.
The fact is, none of our clients want a form which makes them liable for heavy fines for breaking GDPR rules, however unlikely fines might actually be. The ability to turn off saving forms (per-form and by user choice) is now a necessity, regardless of how much you insist that GDPR can be worked around with better messaging. No European business who answers to clients will want to use this plugin after May 25.
I hope you can look at this again and apply a little development time to this request. If you do, we will certainly purchase your developer bundle.
