Hi, I’ve enabled “Mailchimp for WooCommerce” on my WooCommerce website and I’ve enabled the integration with my Mailchimp Account.

The integration works, I can sync Customers, Subscribers, Products and Orders but it seems no “Promo codes” is synced. So, can you please tell me how to sync “Promo codes”?

    Thanks in advance ??

Hi @pizzapie79 Thanks for contacting us! To get started, do you mind enabling remote support please?

    Enable Remote Support:

    1. Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > Mailchimp in your plugin settings.
    2. Activate the remote support option. This allows our support team to perform in-depth diagnostics and understand the underlying issues affecting the sync.

Additionally, can you provide your store URL and version of the plugin you are using please? We look forward to hearing from you.

Hi, thank you for your quick reply! So:

    • I’ve enabled the “Enable support” option
    • My store URL is https://www.parco1923.com/
    • I’m using the 4.4?version of your plugin, I guess it’s the latest one

Please let me know if you need further info.
    Thanks again ??

Hi @pizzapie79, unfortunately we’re not able to reach your site through remote support. This isn’t uncommon as some server providers block that ability. Let’s try to fix you up – no two WordPress installations are identical, and various factors can contribute to sync failures. Here’s a step-by-step guide to basic troubleshooting:

    1. Check for Fatal Errors:
      • Go to WooCommerce > Status > Fatal Logs, if errors exist, address them with the relevant plugin or theme developer
    2. Verify Versions:
      • Ensure PHP and the Mailchimp for WooCommerce plugin are up-to-date
    3. Resource Management:
      • If using many plugins, consider increasing the hosting server’s memory limit (e.g., to 1GB)
    4. WP CRON Settings:
    5. Caching Considerations:
    6. Hosting Environment:
    7. API Access:
    8. Plugin Conflicts:

By systematically working through these steps, you can identify and resolve most syncing issues. If problems persist, please reach out for further assistance.

Hi @pizzapie79, thanks so much for getting that fixed up. Do you have a particular promo code ID we can investigate? I’ve also initiated a resync to your store just in case it was something one-off that prevented those from syncing.

Hi, I’m really sorry for my late reply.

You can check the promo code “benvenuto1923” (ID 15533): that’s the promo code I use to give a discount to my newsletter subscribers.

Just to be more specific, when I try to add the “Promo code” block in Mailchim editor I can see the warning “Please verify that there are active codes in your store and your e-commerce integration is up to date.” Can you please tell me what this warning means? What exactly should I check?

    Thanks!

    Hi @pizzapie79,

We were able to re-sync those promo codes for you! It’s possible that the issue was related to the fatal errors in your logs from earlier. If you encounter any other problems or need further assistance, please let us know, but everything should be good to go now.
