No progress after activation

    Hi, I’m trying to migrate a site from the BB theme to Astra. I’m having problems with CPTs, both singles and archives, displaying full width. So I installed the plugin, once activated run the update and I see the message ‘Your designs are being updated…’. After this nothing is happening and I’m not receiving any update to inform me that the changes have completed? I’m building locally.

    Hello @danmaby,

    The message Your Page Builder designs are being updated in the background. We will inform you when the update is complete. is displayed when the switch to Astra plugin is working in the background. As soon as it is done processing all your pages the notice will change to a success message. If you have a lot of pages, the process will take some extra time than usual.

    You can open up a support ticket from Astra’s website if the notice does not change after more 15-20 minutes so that we can check what exactly is happening on your site.

    Not an answer as to why the plugin didn’t change the layout but a simple workaround: visiting each CPTs ‘Themer Layout’ and hitting update has resolved the issue for me. The CPT pages are now full width.

    Glad that worked for you. We also have another plugin Astra Bulk Edit if in case you need to bulk modify Astra settings for any posts.
