    Using your plugin to move posts from one site to another and bring their images, one of the large broken pieces of the current WordPress implementation.

    Exported posts.
    Began import funnel, it seems normal until you go to Import. It starts up, shows that the users already exist, and then.. nothing. The Processing wheel spins–for the last hour it spins, no additional log information or anything. I look in other tabs a the Posts and Media library and nothing has been imported.

    Not sure what to do.

    May I know which option you are using for media handling. If your are using the download attachment, the attachment should exist in destination. If you are using the uploads zip, you can simply compress your uploads folder and then import.

    Yes I was using Download Attachment. The images were accessible through standard URL fetching. I did not know what formatting the Uploads Zip was looking for. Good to know it just wants a compressed Uploads Folder. I might try that next time. I ended up doing it all by hand/database editing/uploads/media reconciliation. Took far too long.

    You can import uploads zip of corrosponding xml file using our xml importer. It will restore the posts and their images. You don’t need to assign the images to post the process by manual.
