    Hi there,

Many thanks for all your work so far on the plugin, it’s great to see Zettle themselves are directly involved ??

I’ve just installed the latest version (1.4.2) on a site but after going through the onboarding process my products aren’t synced to Zettle, ‘Zettle Status’ is ‘Not synced syncable’ despite all products fitting the requirements on the inpsyde website (WordPress Core and WooCommerce are up to date, 5.8.0 and 5.6.0 respectively).

I’ve run this twice with the same outcome and can’t see any clues in the logs:

2021-09-01T07:35:03+00:00 DEBUG Added 55 jobs to the queue
2021-09-01T07:35:03+00:00 DEBUG Executed Job 'enqueue-products-to-sync' with ID 1.
2021-09-01T07:35:03+00:00 DEBUG Removed 1 jobs from the queue
2021-09-01T07:35:03+00:00 DEBUG Removed 1 jobs from the queue
2021-09-01T07:35:03+00:00 DEBUG Removed 1 jobs from the queue

Not sure what the issue is here, any help greatly appreciated ??

    Hi @matthewdixon,

Are you trying to sync the products with prices? If yes, then please make sure your tax settings are matching between WooCommerce and Zettle.
As a test, can you please deactivate the plugin, reactivate it, and then try again to start the sync?
In case it still fails, we are interested in the latest log entries.
    Thanks!

    Kind regards,
    Niklas

    Hi Niklas,

Many thanks for the speedy response, it was indeed missing tax settings. I added a standard rate of 0% in WooCommerce and the products were synced with Zettle.

    A couple of suggestions..

When the sync fails during the onboarding process it would be good to inform the user instead of getting a ‘completed successfully’ message which I’m pretty sure was what I saw. Also in the case of 0% tax in Zettle, would it be easier to treat no tax settings in WooCommerce as 0% to avoid this issue in the future?

Thanks again for all your work on this so far ??

    Kind regards,
    Matthew

    Hi @matthewdixon,

    Thanks for the feedback.
Our upcoming update 1.5.0 should include a few improvements regarding the onboarding and we are working on further related improvements for the following update.

To better judge what’s going on regarding the performance issues you mentioned in the review section, we would like to learn a bit more context about your site, like a WooCommerce system report.
You can copy the system report from here:
WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support
Then, you can share it either here in the forums or privately with us from here:
    https://zettle.inpsyde.com/docs/request-support/

    Thanks!

    Kind regards,
    Niklas
