no products showing

Hi,

The reason why there were no products on that specific demo page is because there were no categories in the feed anymore with items for Pumps.

The other pages still showed items.

Did you manually select the items you want to display ? or did you do it based on feed/category?

Do you also have a link to the feed for me? Then I can test to see if the feed is imported correctly.

Oh, my mistake!
I think I selected a category when I made the feed in tradetracker.

I tested the feed and the feed imports items and displays them on my test site.

Did it ever show items for you? Or did it never work?

Can you test if the basic store will work when you don’t select any categories? And does it show items when you go to the item selection screen in the admin menu ?

It did work before, I did not select categories back then. I tried again just now – no categories. Still no products. However those feeds have way to many (old) products when I do not select a category. I tried to select the categories or products after I imported the feeds. But now if I ‘Select the items you want to show’ I also see no products.

Could it be the import didn’t actually import items?

If you are not able to select any categories (while editing your store) then in most cases it is a sign that the feed didn’t import.

If the feed did import normall but you had categories selected before (but they don’t exist in the feed anymore) then you won’t be able to select any items. Because the item selection screen will only show items based on the categories you selected. In that case it might be smart to edit the store, and save it without selecting any categories. This will then save the fact that you don’t want to use categories anymore.

It’s fixed! I imported all feeds from TT without category selection. Then made the selection for categories to show under “Add/Edit Stores” in the particular store. Thanks for your help!
