No PRO version – overriding template files

  • Hello,
    I just noticed this statement when reading about the version 3 on: https://www.gowebsolutions.com/wp-customer-reviews/?from=wpcr3_directory_notice_1:
    After many years we have decided to not move forward with a pro version of the plugin.
    Also all of the templates in the include folder have this comment:

    NOTICE: Changes made to this file do nothing.
    Additionally, this file will be overwritten with each plugin update and/or activation.
    If you have the Pro version, you can edit this file via plugin settings without it being overwritten.

    I was wondering if there is a way to override those templates since there is no PRO version?
