I created a database with the user ID and p/w. but when I log in to the database using my user ID and p/w it gives me “No Privileges” disabled. As per my Host provider, it’s not possible to change / manage permissions for mySQL database.

Does that mean I cannot have wordpress blog on my site ?

  • If the db user you created is not allowed to have “all priveleges”, then I’m afraid you’re out of luck.
Ask your host to give you the necessary permissions. What good is the db if you can’t access it? Insane.
