No preview in Revisions Editor in Visual Tabd

  • When going to the Revisions Editor or if a editor is trying to edit a revision they made, there is a blank box in the visual tab of the editor, and nothing can be edited or changed. It is only editable in the “Text/html” tab.

    If someone doesn’t understand HTML, how can I make revisions editable and previewable in the Visual tab of the editor box? Thank you.

  • In the browser console I saw that it shall be a tinymce version conflict or so:

    Consider using ‘dppx’ units, as in CSS ‘dpi’ means dots-per-CSS-inch, not dots-per-physical-inch, so does not correspond to the actual ‘dpi’ of a screen.     I’m not seeing this error with Revisionary 1.1.13 and WP 4.2.2. It could be a conflict with a TinyMCE customization plugin.

    I also see no preview in the “Visual” tab of the editor. It is only editable in the “Text/html” tab.

    I am not well versed in HTML, so would like to see revisions in the Visual tab of the editor box. How can this problem be fixed? Thank you.

    Using WP 4.2.2 with Google Chrome. Also tried on Safari but still did not work.

    Are you running any Editor customization plugins? If you activate your web browser’s developer view, does the Edit screen trigger any javascript errors?
