    Hello @qnkov,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

We’ve checked the link you have shared, and the Opengraph image you are using is below the recommended resolution (1200 x 630 pixels).

Please ensure that the image you’re using is as close as the recommended size and the image file format you are using is only between jpeg, gif, or png as per Opengraph Standards:

    Hope that helps.

Is the problem that my images are webp? I’m using plugin covert that changes them to webp, because it’s new format with good size/quaility.

    Hello @qnkov,

The issue could be caused by the fact that you are using WebP images and those very rarely work on OpenGraph so we recommend using an image that is acceptable by their guidelines (JPEG, PNG or GIF) to make sure that the image can be displayed when sharing on social media.

If that is proven effective on your end then you can apply that across your website.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any other questions.

Can the plugin be updated to work properly with the newer image format? Or it’s something that’s related to the social platforms too?

    Hello @qnkov,

This isn’t related to the plugin. Our plugin supports WebP format for the OpenGraph tags. However, Discord doesn’t support WebP to generate the link preview. So, this is something that they will need to update on their end.

Please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
