I’ve now tried installing WP three times, using 1.2, 1.2.1, and 1.3 alpha, and each time I’m getting the same problem. Namely, no posts are showing up. No matter what page I go to, I get:
Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.
If I try to edit posts in the admin, it doesn’t find any. If I create new posts, they don’t show up. With each install, I totally blew away the database tables and had the system recreate them. And no problems were reported during the install. Any suggestions? Thanks.

And I’ve doublechecked the database tables and the posts are showing up there. They just aren’t being found on the site itself or in the admin section — though editing users shows 2 posts for the admin user but clicking on that 2 brings up a “no posts found” page.

I figured out that this is only happening in Firefox. If I load up my site in Safari (https://www.symbolicorder.com), the posts show up just fine.

    Works fine in FF here.

    I see the same issue.
I’m doing a fresh install of 1.2.1, using Firefox 1.0PR and XAMPP on a Win2K box. “Sorry, no posts matched your criteria” displays in place of my posts. I switch to MySQL and verify that the posts do exist in the tables. Switch to Internet Explorer and, like magic, I see my posts display in WordPress.
A couple weeks ago I had no problem using 1.2 with Firefox.
    It makes no sense.

    Fixed.
In Firefox I went to Tools | Options | Privacy | Cookies | View Cookies. I removed the cookies for “localhost” (two of which referred to WordPress). I refreshed the blog page and my posts displayed just fine.
Whew! Thanks to a poster on another Firefox thread who suggested resetting cookies.
    Hope this helps someone else.

It did – thanks. I ended up deleteing all WP and cookies from my site, refreshed and it works.
