No Posterboard options available.

You can navigate to Events > Theme Options >

Then in the right pane, you can select “Posterboard View” and select several options to edit such as font, backgrounds, colours, etc..

Thank you Sunny, but that does not answer my question.

*How can I get the posterboard view to look like your example instead of the image cropped, and the text appearing on the image on hover?*

In your example the posterboard image fits container and the text is below.

Ok thanks for clearing that up.

The calendar on the left is using the Posterboard View, set to Bulletin style.
The calendar on the right is using the Posterboard View, set to Tile style.

You were looking in the right place, and you should be able to see more options, such as changing the Style form Grid, Tile, or Bulletin. However, something isn’t showing up in yours. This could be a result of a conflict with the theme or a plugin.

First, I suggest making sure you have updated to the latest version of the calendar under Plugins.

Next, in case this problem is a result of a plugin or theme conflict.. Please try a different theme temporarily such as Twenty Seventeen, or, disable all plugins and then check if the problem recurrs — then re-enable each one until you find which one caused the problem.

Let me know if it’s still not showing up for you.

I turned off all plugins and only activated All-in-One Event Calendar version Version 2.5.18

Still no options available.

I changed theme to Twenty Fifteen

Still no options available.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.

Hello, I’m with the same symptoms here. This thread is marked as resolved but there is no solution here. Please could somebody tell me what to do? I’ve done all the things recommended but stil there’s no Bulletin, Tile and Grid options. Please help. Thank you very much.

This problem, where you don’t see the Posterboard Style display dropdown and other options, is due to your hosting’s PHP installation.

Be sure it is up to date, and that it is version 5.6 or newer, as older versions use depricated functions and are not supported.

In some cases, the PHP installation was missing some common extensions, and therefore the page did not display properly.

If you are already using a current version of PHP, you may wish to ask your host to recompile PHP and make sure to include all the commonly used PHP extensions.
