No Post option for Contributors

  • So something went wrong. I have default new users set to contributors, which should allow them to create posts (approved before actually getting posted) however I just made a dummy account and my dashboard has nothing… Just

    Jetpack
    Media
    Profile

    There is nothing for creating a new post. What could be wrong, or what should I look at?
