• Dear Team,

I have very strange issue. When searching thorugh the posts I can see that there is no possbility to “trash” them. When I try to do it by massive actions I recevied an information that I don’t have permission to do that. This is strange cause I can delete pages and even not published posts. On my other sites I can delete posts without issues. I even checked permissions of the all files and catalogs, they are setup properly, trying to create a new user with administrator priviliges doesn’t work too.

There is simply no “trash” which is always visible with red color when I’m moving mouse to the certain post.

    Kind regards,

    Andy

Try using one of the roles and capabilities plugins (such as “Members”) to review your role’s capabilities. The administrator should have all capabilities. The plugin should let you re-enable any that have been removed.

Verify your user doesn’t have specific capabilities removed outside of your role. Use the phpMyAdmin app to check your user’s “wp_capabilities” meta value in the usermeta table. An admin’s meta value should normally be just a:1:{s:13:"administrator";b:1;}. If you wish to change anything through this app, please export a SQL backup of the table before changing anything. Better safe than sorry ??
