No pop-up when item added to wishlist

I recently installed the plugin and everything seems to be working except that there is no visual feedback when a user clicks the button to add a product to the wishlist. The item does get added, but there is no pop-up or message of any kind. I checked the settings page and it is enabled. Looking at the JS console there are no errors firing, however when I looked at the demo page for the plugin, I see there is a div near the bottom of the page called tinv-modal that does not exist on my page. Is there a reason it might not be creating that div or the popups?
