  • Hello @grungedesign,

Good day and thanks for using SuperPWA.

I checked your website upon my two device and noticed that all the features of Progressive Web Apps like Add to Home screen prompt, Home screen Icon, Splash Screen, Caching and Offline Navigation works perfectly. For your reference here’s the video

Can you please let me know whether you have cleared the browsing data of Google Chrome browser before testing?

Here’s the steps to clear the browsing data by tapping the browser menu on Google Chrome > Settings > Privacy > Clear browsing data > Select Advanced tab > from that select options like Browsing history, Cookies and site data, Cached images and files, Site settings and tap Clear Data.

Also can you revert the browser and device that you tested.

    Looking forward.

Thanks a lot! Yes, I cleared my Google Chrome browser about ten times, but nothing changes. Strange. I have no idea.

I tested it in Firefox on another phone and on my tablet, the pop-up never shows.

Can you also try our website https://superpwa.com and let me know whether the prompt occurs on your Google Chrome or not.

As for Mozilla Firefox the “Add to Homescreen” won’t prompt. PWA upon Mozilla works in a different manner. Here’s the quick snippet video on how the PWA works upon Firefox

No, it doesn’t. I allowed pop-ups on the phone and the tablet, I cleared the cache (for the whole time) a few times, but nothing changes.

Thanks for sharing the details @grungedesign. As for getting more clear idea can you please let me know whether you tested upon iOS or Android device?

    Android.
I had to reset Chrome completely, deleting the cache didn’t help. Now it works. Thank you!
