No plugins or themes in admin panel
-
It seems that the famous 5-steps install is not working for me at all since there’s 3 days already looking through the forum and trying to make WP work.
My host is running
PHP 4.3.9RC1
MySQL 3.23.49
Apache serverAfter install, everything goes just fine, exept that i cannot see, or access my plugins and my themes in the administration panels.
On plugins tab I see the “Couldn’t open plugins directory or there are no plugins available.” message.
On Presentation tab, I cannot see any themes listed, getting this message:

The active theme is WordPress Default. The template files are located in . The stylesheet files are located in .”I DID downloaded several plugins and themes and uploaded them via ftp in wp-content/plugins and wp-content/themes folders accordingly (so there are files in those folders).
I checked for zero filesize files. I chmod all files and folders to 777, and still no luck.
It might be a host issue but as I am not getting any server error at all, I don’t even know what to ask for to my hosting provider.
Any ideas are very vert much appreciated, sine I’m on a verge to get nuts! Thank you in advance
