    Hi all,

I’ve inherited a WP site to update. It’s running 4.3.1. The problem is, there isn’t any plugin menu. See this screenshot of my dashboard: https://s2.postimg.org/7wvoy2ro9/screenshot_WP.png

Is this a bug in 4.3.1? Would it resolve if I downgraded to a previous version?

Would downgrading dramatically alter the site layout as it currently is?

    Thanks.

    Is this a wordpress.com site?

It has its own domain but it runs WordPress.

Let me clarify, is the site running on wordpress.com server or is it a self hosted wordpress install? If it is a wordpress.com site it won’t have plugins available.

I’m not sure. How would I find that out?

It is not a WordPress.com site. Such a site would not have the Profile or Contact link in the menu.

Given that you’re also missing the Settings menu, then I’d say you’re not logged in as an Administrator account. Log in with the admin account.

    A site link would help

I am pretty sure that I’m logged in as an admin.
