No plugins link on admin sidebar

  • Hi, I am working with a new client. Upon logging into the dashboard there appears to be no link in the left sidebar for plugins. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be? It is hosted by our friends at Go Daddy. I uploaded the plugin I wanted to install manually via ftp, but it did not show up in the sidebar. Thanks in advance.

    Hi, I just found out that this site is running in a sub-directory on the server if that matters.
