No plugins in dashboard, problems using Fatcow

I just transferred my domain to fatcow so I would be able to use premium themes. After the transfer, there is still no plugins option on the dashboard. I have no idea what I have done wrong (long time wordpress.com user, first time being hosted). Fatcow hasn’t been much help and just point me to the message boards but most people on wp doesn’t seem to use fatcow as a host. I’m curious to know if I am still a .com instead of a .org user. Any help would be appreciated.
