• I’m using wordpress 1.5.2, PHP 4.4.0. Login as level 10.
Each time I click ‘Activate’, above message shows ‘Plugin activated’ but actually nothing happens. I tried several plugins, all are the same result.

    Anyone here encountered this problem?

Here is the screenshot about plugin panel: https://www.underthepink.cn/activation.jpg

I’ve tried to delete the whole wp folder and reinstalled. But things remain the same…

I’ve had the same issue, myself, hasn’t been resolved yet. I’ve read through the archives and it seems as though everyone that has had this problem has had a diferent resolution. If you get it figured out, could you post it here? Hope it gets fixed.

Are you sure you uploaded them right, cmodded them right, and so forth. Meaning didn’t miss any files in the upload. Usually after uploading the default cmod is just fine to run them, but I do cmod differently sometimes to, just to make sure. Like 755, 777 or something. But 777 isn’t usually the best one to choose. I dunno, I tried looking at that image you have there, but took too long to load and gave up on it.. Moshu will help…he should be around.. =)

    Hi. Thanks for your reply.
    But my OS is win2003.

All the files are uploaded correctly…

Are you on a Linux server? I had to switch from Windows server to Linux to get many features in WP working….

Well, personally, I’ve got two websites, both with the same host and on the same server. I got WP working absolutely fine, no problems with plugins activating, on my personal blogsite. So I decided to use WP on my other site, too, and that’s the site that I can’t get the plugins to activate for.
So why I’m having an issue with the second website is what I can’t figure out.
