  • Hi Bruce
    It looks like i asked a very similar question about an hour later.
    Have you got anywhere?
    I am editing twig file to try and get the featured image into an agenda style section on the homepage.
    I found the featured image in event-single.twig and have stripped out everything to just this one line :
    {{ event | avatar( ['post_thumbnail'], 'timely alignleft', false ) | raw }}
    and this produces the image and the text ( i am hoping to display:none the paragraph text). But when i put this in my agenda.twig the calendar dies.
    But maybe this line will help you if you are just customising event-single.twig?
    tom

    Hi BruceInLouisville – in the admin area, on the edit an event screen, you will see a button called “screen options” in the top right hand corner. Not all partw of the edit event screen are shown unless you have asked to see them: click on screen options and see if the Featured Image box is checked maybe? When checked it should appear bottom right – but that might be different for your layout.

    ah, yes tashminia
    now i read his question again i see that thats exacty what he’s asking for.
    ah well i had hoped for a breakthrough with my problem..
    sorry for muddying the water bruce
