    Greetings –
My sites stopped loading images some time ago. I didn’t know the problem existed, because they’d still load on my computer while I worked on the sites, but a friend pointed out they hadn’t been showing up on his computer.
I disabled all other plugins, but the problem persisted. I set ‘Theme loader function’ to ‘wp_head’ without success. I then started turning off the settings above ‘Theme loader function’, and after turning off ‘Apply to content’, the problem went away – but I don’t think my site images are being lazy loaded.
Do you have any suggestions as to how to make everything play well together? – Thanks –

You are right that if you don’t apply BJ Lazy Load to the content, lazy loading won’t happen (at least not for the content).

I can not say why images wouldn’t work on your friend’s computer without a much thorougher description on your friend’s setup (OS name and version, browser name and version, possibly other settings, any script alerts etc).

Apologies Bj?rn. Here are some of the missing bits and pieces:

My computer: Windows 7 SP1 64 bit, pictures appeared on Firefox 26.0 while I was logged in as admin, but they also appeared when I tried in Chrome Version 30.0.1599.69.
Friend’s computer: Mac OS X Snow Leopard, no pictures appeared on Firefox 26.0 if “Apply to Content” was set to “Yes”.
I then tried on a Nexus 5 Android phone, and no pictures appeared there either. The phone uses KitKat 4.4.2 and has a Chrome browser. I don’t know how to find the version number, but the Google Play store indicates it’s the current version.

There were no script messages on the Mac or on the smartphone. The browsers left space for the pictures, but there was nothing there (not even a broken image icon).

Let me know if you need more information. I can also test using an XP SP 3 machine with Explorer 8, or can try on Opera 18 or Explorer 11 (Win 7 machine), or Safari 5.1.10 (Mac OS X).

    Thanks again –

Any chance you can provide me with an URL to the site? Preferably with the plugin enabled, but it’s not strictly necessary.

Thanks for the quick reply, Bj?rn. The problem cropped up on a number of sites; one of them is https://www.paralegaltrainingschools.com. All the sites are hosted on a shared account at HostGator. The plugin is currently enabled, but with the ‘Apply to content’ set to ‘No’.

FWIW, I just updated to your most recent version (0.7.1) and tried again, but got the same results.

There seem to be something wrong with your minifying plugin:

At least the needed JS is never loaded, so the placeholders will never be replaced by the actual images.

It looks like I have a bit of work to do. I’ll post back when I’ve sorted out what’s blocking the JavaScript. Thanks!
