• I have my url teamarino.com pointing to a shared host at steelcitycreative.com/teamarino… I do not have a php.ini file in the root of steelcitycreative.com or steelcitycreative.com/teamarino … Where can I get one? And where would I put it?

Having an issue importing xml data. Anytime I run the importer it hour glasses, then i get a blank screen (would usually get an error message).

    Thanks ahead of time!!

  • You need to contact your hosts about the php.ini file. Not all hosts allow site specific php.ini files.

What’s the .xml data that you are uploading? And how large is the file?

Thanks so much for the quick reply. The file is 779kb, but I am clicking the ‘Download and import file attachments’ option.

Could the lack of php.ini file be the problem?

Also the theme is from AIT Themes https://www.ait-themes.com/documentation/barcelona-wordpress-theme/

779kb should import no problem. You don’t normally hit import issues due to size until you start talking in multiple megabytes. Have you spoken to the theme’s developers about this? It sounds like the .xml could be corrupted.
