No photo display when I click on search results thumbnail

There is something wrong in the description of photo 41, just before the text:

Im not sure to understand what you mean : the text appears like this in the description box :

Alison Mosshart, Jack White
The Dead Weather
? 2010

I just pressed Enter to go next line and alt+0169 to write ?.

I had a second look on your site.

There are many newline characters inserted in the code generated by wppa+.

Most likely by another plugin or the theme itsself.

Try to eliminate by de-activationg pugins, also try a different theme to test.

I would like to know if you can find the cause of the problem this way ( wich plugin or theme(setting) ).

I disabled all plug ins (except WPPA of course) but it doesn’t work either.
I would prefer not to change theme because I all designed for this one, even images downloaded in theme interface and I don’t really know the consequences if I change it, even temporarely…

Another detail, the thumbnail in the search page are not well displayed (cropped) maybe it’s a clue …?

Change nothing else on the site and activate theme 2013 to see if the problem persists. This will not harm your site. everything will come back when you re-activate your original theme.

I just tried what you said and it displays correctly on 2013 theme, the thumbnails on photo search results are not cropped and link is the photo displaying in the slideshow.

I updated WPPA to the new version, tried again with my ANAN theme, but it’s the same, in photo search results, photos are cropped and non aligned and when I click on one of them, an empty photo search results page loads and stays empty…

Do you have any idea ?

Ask the theme builder how you can prevent the theme from inseting newlines in code that has been generated by plugins.

I’ve got another problem that maybe a clue to resolve the case :
when I click on widget Photo of the day, the lightbox that opens goes UNDER Youtube videos embedded on page text (with Youtube embedded code).
Exemple : https://www.lilianginet.com/?page_id=462

Do you think it has any link with non-normal display of photos in search page photo results ?
If no, do you know how I could resolve this new problem ?

Increase the value in Table I-C4.

There is still an unwanted <p></p> in the code between the first and second thumbnail, due to the same original reason ( unwanted insertion in the code ).

The YouTube problem has my attention, but i do not have a solution ready.

I tried to increase I-C4 value but no change on the cropped vertical images after several tries.

the author of my theme told me to use, to have more freedom with codes insertion ?
On my side, I have no idea on the way to use it…

it seems I found the solution for non cropped images.

I absolutely don’t know why but on my photo search result page, in wordpress editor I had “[wppa type=”landing”][/wppa]”.
And my cropped ones were only vertical pictures (no “landing” ones).

Told to myself that “landing” display preset must be for horizontal photos so I changed it to simple %%wppa%% and now, vertical AND horizontal photos displays normally !!
