No Phone # on orders despite being set to required

    Hi

    I have recently setup a shop:
    shop.limitfabrications.co.uk

    We’re getting orders, but despite setting the “Phone” field in both Shipping & Billing to “required” customers are not putting the number in and the orders are coming through without telephone numbers.

    This is an annoying problem as items have been returned and as we’re shipping internationally that’s expensive.

    I visited the site as a customer and I am not able to proceed through the checkout without a valid phone number entered as you can see here:

    I’d recommend testing your checkout and enter a phone number and then see if the order includes it. If you indeed enter a phone number and then it is NOT visible on the order, I am guessing this is because of that 3rd Phone Number field that says optional at the bottom is overriding the other fields and is causing the issue.

    I see you have a plugin called WooCommerce Checkout Manager: by QuadLayers – 5.0.6 I’d recommend disabling that to see if the 3rd optional phone number box is removed.

    Thanks for the quick response Amanda

    I didn’t even realise that plugin was installed as it came with the Woocomerce plugin. Have de-activated it and done a dummy checkout and that seems to have brought the number through on the order.
