No phone number validation since last update

I hope you’re well today!

There are some issues with specific phone mnumber formats validation but none of them should let you enter just a simple test and if the validation worked in previous version, it should still be working as nothing has changed in this part of the plugin with last updates.

Could you tell me please then to what format the form is set to validate and could you post an example (fake but following the format) phone number exactly “as is” that you’re trying to validate?

Also, are you sure that it’s just that field only and other fields are validated? I’m wondering if maybe the validation fails (e.g. due to some conflict or some other issues) for entire form – can you confirm that it’s just that specific field or type of field?

Hi Adam,
thanks for your quick reply. I just checked again and it’s more than just one field in one form, it’s not working on all phone fields. I tried following strings and received no warning:

“testing1254”
“154878testing”
“testing”
“1212345”

Each works without any validation message. All other validations are working (E-Mail etc.). I just noticed it after the last update.

Could you also tell me please, as asked in my previous post, how the phone fields are configured in your form?

Or better yet – there’s an export option in Forminator that lets you export entire form so perhaps you could just do that and share export code with us here?

That could help in testing as I can’t replicate that on my test setup so far.

there was something wrong with my settings after the update. I fixed that. Thanks for your help.
