No pdf invoice generated – error

    Hello,

    I’m just beginning with wordpress…So I’m sorry if my question is very simple… Since the update this afternoon, the WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips plugin does not work proprely. It can’t generate pdf invoices.
    Message : Internal Server Error
    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    The WP Memory Limit was red in the system configuration so I changed memory limit to 256M in wp-config.php file. Now it is green on the screen. But it still won’t generate pdf invoices, with the same error message.
    If I swith to html invoices, there is no problem anymore. But I need the pdf invoice for some customers. Can you help me ? Thanks !

    I’m sorry to hear it stopped working. Could you add &debug=true to the URL of the PDF that gives you this internal server error? That will hopefully provide you with a more descriptive error message.

    Is this single PDF files or bulk print?

    It doesn’t change the error message… I also tried with &output=html and the invoice is correct (but in html of course ?? )
    The delivery slip works in pdf. It is only the pdf invoice that does not work.

    The extensions updated yesterday (just before the problem occured) are :
    – PW WooCommerce Gift Cards version 1.154
    – Yoast SEO version 15.3
    – Advanced Woo Search version 2.15

    Could it be the new promo codes ?

    Possibly, could you try to temporarily deactivate the gift cards plugin?

    If the errors are not shown on the frontend by adding &debug=true to the URL, you could also go to WooCommerce > Status > Logs to see if there’s anything related under the logs fatal-errors-##### or wpo-wcpdf-#### (dropdown on the top right) with a date/time that matches one of your attempts.

    It is single pdf files.

    In logs, it seems that the last one is from 2020-11-04… I don’t know why. Maybe because I’m using Updraft Plus now ? Sorry, I really just begun and I don’t understand everything yet ??

    is that 2020-11-04 log a fatal-errors log or wpo-wcpdf? Have you tested with the gift cards plugin temporarily deactivated?

    Nothing on 2020-11-04. And I have no log after that date…
    I checked with all the plugin off, one by one then altogether but it doesn’t fix the bug…
    I think I may have activated an ajax function at a wrong place. Do you know if there is any conflict with AJAX ?

    Sorry if my question was no clear. I wanted to know which log that 2020-11-04 date comes from (dropdown in the top right of the Logs page).

    If you created a custom AJAX function, that may indeed interfere, since the PDF Invoice plugin also uses the AJAX framework. What did you add and where did you add that?

    I found the bug !!! It was the wishlist plugin : I activated AJAX function. Now I desactivated it and pdf invoices are back !!! Thank you so much for your time and your precious help !!!!
