    When customers try to purchase an item they receive the following message:
    Sorry, it seems that there are no available payment methods for your state. Please contact us if you require assistance or wish to make alternate arrangements.

    What’s going on here? I updated WooCommerce but the message still appears.

  • It seems to work for US addresses – have you set up shipping options for other countries?

    Yes, I have but the address in question is California, and I am in Florida. I tried other states and get the same result.

    Whatever I try in US addresses gives me the Free Shipping option – even if the ZIP is wrong (eg: just using 12345) – are there supposed to be different prices for other states?

    @nubiesan Could you share more details about the steps you follow before you get that error message?

    I visited your site, added this product to the cart, used a California address, proceeded to Checkout – and I never got the error. I was given the option to pay with PayPal and was correctly redirected to the PayPal portal.

    So, at what step in the process are you given that message? Could you also share a screenshot with us, of the page where you see that error?

    Hi, we have solved the problem. We had been using the PayPal Express Checkout plugin but changed to the PayPal checkout and the problem disappeared. Thanks, everyone for trying to help
