I have the same problem. None of my registered users are able to reset their passwords. This is the message they’r getting:

The Doula Register – Find Your Doula!
We received a request to reset the password for your account. If you made this request, click the link below to change your password:
    Reset your password
If you didn’t make this request, ignore this email or report it to us.
    Thank you!

I’ve checked my ‘Password Reset’ email and the link goes to https://thedoularegister.com/wp-admin/%7Bpassword_reset_link but when you land on that page, the error message is:

This page doesn’t seem to exist.
It looks like the link pointing here was faulty. Maybe try searching?

    Hi @superguppi, @kickih and @egitimaskinayonetim,

Please make sure that you have Password reset page in Pages section and assigned this page in Ultimate member -> Settings -> General -> Pages. The password reset page should contain [ultimatemember_password] shortcode.

    Regards.

I have the same problem recently with the reset password email. The words “reset your password” are in the email, but it is not a hyperlink.
I have checked that we have a Password Rest page, and the page settings in the plugin have that page selected.

My issue was resolved by changing the Email setting to use HTML for emails, which had not been selected previously. Emails were being sent out as plain text so no link was possible.
    @superguppi

I’m having the same issue. I have the password reset page directed in the Ultimate Members settings. I don’t see a way to change the email to html to see if that works.

    Woocommerce>Settings>Emails tab

You’ll see a list of the emails that can be sent, click on Reset Password. There is a drop-down box where you can change the Email Type from text to HTML.

If you’re not using Woocommerce there is likely a similar path for just WordPress.

I turned off all the other plugins and still no change. If you look at the email code the link is not parsed into a link. It is just href=”{ultimatemember_password}”>Reset your password The short code should have changed to something else but it doesn’t. Anyone know how to fix this? If I delete the plugin and re-istall will that screw up all my members information?
I would love to see where these short codes are located. It acts as if this one does not exist. I have the email html checked and everything should be good. All the other short codes seem to work but this one.

This is important! Please fix this ASAP. No link or styles generated in the reset password e-mail. Just plain text.

    I have the same problem!!!

I am having the same problem. Anyone find a solution? The emails are not getting the link to reset PW. Please help as it’s been weeks of me trying to figure this out and no luck.

This is really screwing up one of my companies ?? Woocommerce is set to HTML.The reset page is set correctly. For some reason the emails from the reset are being sent as plain text instead of html.

Oh my gosh!!! So under settings and email settings there is an option at the very bottom asking if you want html for emails. GEESH!!! First, this worked fine last year, so clearly an update unchecked that. We have a few hundred clients reset their email passwords each year, so I know it was working until about 3-5 months ago. ?? Everyone, check that setting.

I am facing not exactly the same but similar issue.

When new user is created i am receiving email with following text

Username: mahesh g To set your password, visit the following address: https://ilovethane.com/wp-login.php

In short I am not receiving correct link.

Please help me to resolve this.
