No password field during register

what we have to apss in nonce, I get an error while passing:

Error:You must include ‘nonce’ var in your request. Use the ‘get_nonce’ Core API method. ”

@daltontastic, if you want to provide your own password, you can pass it &user_pass=YOUR-PASSWORD and you should use the POST method, not GET.

@kanupriya, As mentioned in the rror, you should use get_nonce endpoint, from https://your-domain.com/api/get_nonce/?controller=user&method=register

you make all such validations in js at your front end. You only pass these values to API once you are ready.

Please see js validation on web or better still, use jQuery.

You need jQuery and AJAX to call the get_nonce and use nonce value for regster call. please search google for this o jQuery website, it is beyond the scope of this plugin support.

One last question. What is the purpose of a nonce? Can I generate it once and use it for all my calls, or do I need a new one for each registration?

A nonce is a “number used once” to help protect URLs and forms from certain types of misuse, malicious or otherwise.

It’s helpful in stopping spam and double posting of any data.
