• I am using W3 Total Cache plugin on my blog. I’ve setup CDN correctly and now I have cdn.mydomain.com which all the static files are stored there.
    Hi guys,

I expected that at least two of the files in the CDN will load in parallel of my main domain page (ie. mydomain.com), but it isn’t the case. Instead, the static files on the CDN are being loaded after the main domain page has finished loading.

Do you have any idea why the cdn.mydomain.com files are not being loaded in parallel to my main domain.

I checked it out using FireBug Net tab Timeline, which shows the loading sequence of files from my blog.

Thanks in advance for your helpful answer.

Anyone know how to solve this?

Same issue in my side. I have create 5 different CDN hosts, but all PNG files are being requested from the last CDN host, not share across multiple hosts. Any ideas?

It seems that the domain page needs to finish loading until the CDN’s elements start loading. Still didn’t find away why it is like that – hopefully we get an answer from W3-Edge here.

W3TC does not try to create too many DNS lookups, which are slow, so it uses the initial set of CNAMEs for specific purposes as specified next to each entry.
