    Just installed 4.0.1, but although I do create pages, they cannot be displayed on front-end (not found), while back-end says there are 9 pages, but none are listed.

    I did various re-installs, but continuously same issue.

    I only have this problem on the sites that run 4.0.1.

    Anyone a clue what is causing this?

    Ignore, it is caused by WPML plugin. Even the latest version 3.1.8.4 corrupts WordPress.

    I solved this by:
    => Login to your Admin Panel
    => Go to [Left Menu] WPML -> Support
    => Click on the “troubleshooting” link. [ You can find that at bottom of the page ]

    + Once you are on “Troubleshooting” Page:
    => Reset all language data (last option in troubleshoot page)
    => Deactivate WPML
    => Reactivate

    Worked as a charm.
