No page refresh after submit signup form

  • After submitting the registration form, there is no refresh of the WordPress page. The hourglass is running all the time.
    However, the record is created and a confirmation email is sent.

    I have installed the latest version of WP, Plugin Participants DB and theme Sydney.

    Any ideas?

    This is not something the plugin is doing, my guess is there is some other plugin or even the theme that is hooking some javascript functionality to the Particiapnts Database form. Since it’s kicking in after the submission, it has something to do with the redirect that sends the user to the “thanks” page.
