no-page menu item

    I’d like to have a menu item that appears, but only as a container for child or sub-items. That is, it does not have a page associated with it. Theme TwentyTen.
    Is this possible?
    Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

    To answer my own question. The answer is . .
    Using Appearance>Menus,create a Custom Links item with the URL as

    javascript: void(0);

    Give it a name, Add it to the menu.
    Then add actual pages / page links under that as child items.

    Just what I was looking for nice one thanks!
